This episode revolves around acknowledging the reason that the holidays no longer feel the same is because women are not investing the same amount of labor into the holidays for free anymore and rightfully so. We also discuss the perception versus the reality that male podcasters promote when it comes to women and dating like Andrew Wilson vs Charlie revealed not only his hypocrisy but that women do have intrinsic value to men which is why they never consider just not dating us. We also discuss centering your sanity and safety in co parenting and why Ray J's latest alleged domestic violence highlights precisely why we should not feel pressure to shelter abusive male family members

  • We Are Losing Our Rights But We Can Be Here For Each Other And Make Better Choices
    Oct 21 2025

    Send us a text

This week I am kicking off season 2 talking about the times we are living in politically and how we have to start thinking and moving differently for survival. That we can look to famous women like the rappers we saw feuding a couple weeks ago Cardi B and Nicki Minaj for lessons in survival and decision making. We need to be pushing back on casual misogyny and finding ways to prioritize ourselves and our safety.

  • Ease Up Off Women Rappers, Shacarri Richardson And The Domestic Violence Imbalance
    Aug 18 2025

    Send us a text

Let's talk about how people have a propensity towards trying to tear down women who rap based on stan wars rather than accepting that there are different lanes for each woman to occupy and we don't have to listen to anyone we dislike, Shacarri Richardson's domestic violence against her partner and why we need to have honest conversations about this that still provide understanding that it proceeds to lethal still more often with male abusers.

  • Dating Is Transactional To Men Because Their Self Esteem Is Low And How You Deserve To Live For Yourself
    Aug 4 2025

    Send us a text

This week I reflect on a conversation I had on Twitter and my TikTok where men were saying women use them for free food by going on the dinner dates they asked us to go on with them. Reality is men do not see value is spending time with women unless it develops into the possibility of body sharing and that's because they are projecting because they don't feel like they have anything much to offer themselves besides money, nor have they tried to cultivate more than that so they have made relationships as a whole transactional while becoming angry at women for recognizing it and demanding value for their time efforts and energy. The latter part is an encouragement for you, as a woman to cultivate the kind of life you deserve free from the expectations that you have to perform womanhood as a service. This is your one life. What do you want from it? How are you working towards it? And for yourself.

Nevertheless we talk in this episode about how rape culture is perpetuated by the expectation that accepting certain things from men means you have to perform sex (you don't. EVER), the misogyny of blaming women for how men show up in relationships from a Twitter discussion and Right Wing Talking Points on Racism And How That impacts our loss of rights, perspective and humanity.

  • Victim Blaming Is Your Punishment For Surviving And My Pep Talk To You To Put Yourself First
    Jul 11 2025

    Send us a text

When you have survived domestic violence or any kind of abuse many people do not want to hear your story because it makes them face what they have done to others or been complicit in themselves. They would prefer your silence. This is me acknowledging that they didn't hear you because they didn't want to do anything to help you or hold the other person who harmed you accountable. But we are still here. And we will not be quiet. I also spend time sharing with you guys this episode why having children without a marriage is detrimental to your wellbeing as a woman and encourage YOU to put YOURSELF first. You matter as who you already are before what you give to a man and society.
