  • WTF is going on with my nervous system?
    Mar 4 2026

After trauma, our nervous system usually doesn't recognize that the danger isn't there anymore. We may feel on edge, exhausted, disconnected, or easily overwhelmed because our body really doesn't have a clue on what else to do.

In this episode of Life Reassembled, we explore what trauma does to the nervous system and how we can begin restoring ourselves through God's truth and how He made us to be able to so. We talk about practical ways to regulate our nervous system - with forgiveness, permission and most importantly love- without forcing ourselves into calm or pretending everything is fine.

With one step at a time, we can teach our nervous system that there's no bear chasing us every second.

This conversation is about compassion over our bodies and minds and practical tools for rebuilding internal peace in a way that lasts.

  • Surviving During the Abuse & Trauma
    Feb 25 2026

In this episode of Life Reassembled, we dive into what it means to survive our toxic environment while the trauma is still happening.

Ideally, staying in any toxic environment will continue to feed the negative stress sensors in our brains and bodies. Leaving us constantly on edge and exhausted. Yet, sometimes we cannot leave straight away, and in the midst of that- we need to figure out a way to keep our nervous systems in check (as much as we possible can).

  • Leaving safety at the Right Time
    Feb 18 2026

Sometimes the hardest decision isn’t staying. It’s knowing when it’s time to go.

In this episode, we explore what it means to leave at the right time — not too soon, not too late, but with wisdom. We talk about recognizing ongoing harm, understanding safety on a deeper level, and discerning when our spirit knows something our fear doesn’t want to admit.

Leaving safely and intentionally is not about revenge or reaction. It’s about stewardship — of our peace, our health, and the life we are responsible for protecting.

  • Are You Ignoring Trauma? (There's Subtle Behaviors That Reveal It)
    Feb 11 2026

Trauma sometimes is hidden in patterns we call “normal”— like overthinking, people-pleasing, shutting down, being overly responsible, or constantly feeling “too much” or “not enough.” Many survivors can look like they function, succeed, and hold it all together externally yet-internally quietly carrying unprocessed pain.

In this episode of Life Reassembled, we explore the subtle signs of trauma that often get minimized, dismissed, or mistaken as personality traits. We’ll unpack behaviors like hypervigilance, emotional numbness, avoidance, perfectionism, self-criticism, and relational disconnect when left un-dealt with.

  • Coercive Control and Isolation From Help
    Feb 4 2026

Abuse is not always loud or visible — sometimes it’s quiet, strategic, and disguised as care. Coercive control is one of the most dangerous forms of abuse because it doesn’t just restrict a person’s freedom — it slowly convinces them they don’t deserve any.

In this episode of Life Reassembled, we uncover how abusers use control, manipulation, surveillance, and dependency to shrink someone’s world. We talk about how isolation often starts as “concern” or “protection” but evolves into dominance, fear, and loneliness. You’ll learn how coercive control works, why survivors often don’t recognize it until much later, and how trauma bonding keeps people tangled in relationships that feel impossible to leave.

This conversation is for anyone who has ever asked themselves: “When did I become afraid to make decisions?” “Why did my world get so small?” “How did love turn into control?”

You’ll walk away with clarity, validation, and language to explain what may have been happening to you for years — along with encouragement that freedom and support are possible.
