En 1941, hubo un incendio en Santander, España. Fue muy grande y causó muchos daños. Muchas casas y negocios se perdieron. Un bombero murió y más de cien personas resultaron heridas. Se llama el incendio andaluz porque comenzó en una calle llamada Cádiz y terminó en una calle llamada Sevilla.

Si hacéis estos ejercicios, vuestra comprensión auditiva (listening) y vuestra fluidez hablando (speaking) ¡van a experimentar un cambio impresionante! Son tres actividades para potenciar vuestra fluidez y capacidad oral, y otras dos para potenciar vuestra capacidad auditiva. Es decir, tres ejercicios para vuestro speaking y dos ejercicios para vuestro listening.

If you do these exercises, your listening comprehension (listening) and speaking fluency (speaking) will experience an impressive change! In order to learn a language and improve your listening comprehension faster, it is important to listen to interesting information (a podcast for example). If you want to learn Spanish quickly, you should not only listen to Spanish, but the information you listen to should also be interesting to you. If you listen to the news in Spanish, but you are not really interested in the information, then you will not learn quickly because your brain is not interested in what you are listening to.

Y es que, para aprender un idioma y mejorar la comprensión auditiva de manera más rápida, es importante escuchar información interesante (un podcast por ejemplo). Si quieres aprender español de forma rápida, no solo debes escuchar español, sino que, además, la información que escuches debe ser interesante para ti. Si escuchas las noticias en español, pero, en realidad, no te interesa la información, entonces no aprenderás rápido porque tu cerebro no muestra interés por lo que escuchas.
