It's September and we've started a two month battle between Dogs and Cats. August went to the dogs, and September is for the cats. To celebrate national cat month we are taking on 5 cat films.

This week we watched a tv movie from 1991 that aired on the USA network called "Strays" about a group of stray cats going on rampage to protect their turf from a new family. While that sounds oddly generic we beg the question "is it good though?"

So this week we dive into a film about a different kind of cat, a big cat. We are talking about the king of the jungle, a lion in this Amsterdam animal attack flick "Prey" aka "Uncaged" from 2016 or 2019 depending on which re-release you see wander onto. This film has it all, corpse hungry lions, cheating boyfriends, dim witted kids and a hunter riding a tank treaded wheelchair. You gotta love foreign films. Now let's find out if we did.

The princess of the stars trying to find 3 devices called the Octagon to kill an alien called "Star Killer" with the aid of an old man, a cat inhabited by an alien knight, and a novelist... yeah, theres no way you could have thought of that and theres nonway we can talk about it, but we try.

The prenise goes something like this: 5 friends get stuck on an island with wild hungry bio-enginered super dogs and soon they have to battle them to stay alive. Its every bit as silly as it sounds.
