Talking Trash Episode 159: The Black Cat (1981)

Talking Trash is a show to discuss movies that some people deem to be garbage, mediocre or just one that people never knew existed, we talk through the plot in spoiler fashion while asking "is this a bad movie?" And if not "what is the worst movie ever made?"

It's September and we've started a two month battle between Dogs and Cats. August went to the dogs, and September is for the cats. To celebrate national cat month we are taking on 5 cat films.

So this week we dive into another Lucio Fulci film, 1981s "The Black Cat". Yes, its another stab at producing a live action retelling of the Edgar Allen Poe story of the same name and because its Fulci, you know that means bright red blood and eye ball close ups. Will this be a fun cat film or a bad time all around? Let's find out.
