  • The Disciple’s Path – Week 2: Proximity Before Productivity
    Feb 23 2026

In Week 2 of The Disciple’s Path, Aaron Joseph Hall teaches from Gospel of Mark 3:13–15, where Jesus calls the Twelve to be with Him before sending them out.

Big Idea: A disciple’s primary calling is not activity, but proximity.

Looking also at Gospel of John 15:4–5 and Gospel of Luke 10:38–42, we’re reminded that fruit comes from abiding, not striving. You can be busy for Jesus and still distant from Him.

Before He sends you out, He calls you close.

Are you doing things for Jesus more than you are being with Jesus?

  • The Disciple’s Path – Week 1: Follow Me
    Feb 15 2026

This week, Pastor Aaron kicked off a new series titled The Disciple’s Path, diving into Gospel of Matthew 4:18–22, where Jesus calls ordinary fishermen and simply says, “Follow Me.”

Discipleship starts with a personal response to that invitation. The first disciples immediately left their nets — their livelihood, security, and comfort — to follow Him.

The question for us is simple: What nets is Jesus asking you to lay down?

  • CHOICES: Following Jesus Is a Personal Decision
    Feb 9 2026

In this message, Pastor Aaron reminds us of a truth we often overlook: following Jesus is a personal choice that no one else can make for us. God, in His grace, invites us—but He never forces us. From the Garden of Eden to the call of Christ, Scripture consistently shows that obedience, faith, and discipleship are matters of decision.

This episode challenges listeners to move beyond proximity to Jesus and into personal surrender. You can be around Jesus, hear His words, and even admire His teaching—yet still walk away unchanged. The question isn’t whether Jesus calls, but whether we will respond.

  • The Barabbas in All of Us
    Jan 25 2026

In this episode, Pastor Aaron explores the powerful moment when Jesus is condemned and Barabbas is set free. Through the trial before Pilate, the crowd’s choice, and the cross itself, we see the heart of the gospel: the innocent dies so the guilty can go free. This story doesn’t just reveal who Barabbas was—it reveals who we are, and what Jesus has done for us.

The story of Barabbas reminds us that grace is undeserved, costly, and freely offered. No matter your past or present, Jesus still invites you to come, trust Him, and walk free.

  • Faith in the Storm: Confidence in the Presence of Jesus (Matthew 14:22–33)
    Jan 20 2026

Faith isn’t the absence of storms—it’s confidence in the presence of Jesus.
In this message from Matthew 14:22–33, we explore Jesus walking on the water and what it means to trust Him in the middle of life’s storms. Even when the disciples were obeying Jesus, they still faced a storm—but they weren’t alone. Learn why obedience doesn’t guarantee ease, how Jesus reveals Himself in fear, and how fixing our eyes on Him leads us from fear to worship.

  • Consecrate Yourself: Preparing for What God Wants to Do
    Jan 8 2026

Welcome to the very first episode of the Jubilee City Church Podcast!
As we prepare to officially launch on January 10, Pastor Aaron shares a devotional from our January 3rd prayer service focused on preparation, prayer, and consecration.

Drawing from Joshua 3 and 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18, this episode invites us to examine our hearts and ask what God may be calling us to lay down as we prepare for what He wants to do — not just in our church, but in our lives.

    1. Follow Jesus
God called the Israelites to “break camp” and follow the Ark of the Covenant into unfamiliar territory. Following Jesus often means leaving what’s comfortable — habits, thought patterns, or familiar places — and trusting that God gives good directions.

    2. Consecrate Yourself
“Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.”
Consecration is a call to set ourselves apart — cutting away anything unclean or distracting so we can follow Jesus fully, with surrender and faith.

    3. Step Into the River
Before the miracle happened, the priests had to step into the Jordan. Faith often requires obedience before we see the breakthrough. God calls us to step into the water, pray boldly, and trust Him to move.

As a church family, we are committing to pray without ceasing — for our city, for the people God will draw, and for one another. This episode is an invitation to pray with expectancy and prepare your heart for what God wants to do next.

    • Joshua 3:2–8

    • Joshua 3:5

    • 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18

    As you listen, ask yourself:

    • What is God asking me to leave behind?

    • What area of my life needs consecration?

    • Where is He calling me to step out in faith?

Join us in praying as Jubilee City Church launches and as we trust God to do wonders among us.
