Welcome to I've Seen Things, the podcast where movies aren't just dissected— they're lived, laughed at, loved, and sometimes turned into awkward personal anecdotes. Sure, I break down films, but I also dive into the chaos of pop culture, swap wild stories, and ask the big questions: Why do we love the movies we love? And what does that say about us? Stick around— you might just see things differently. I never got a chance to be your local video rental store staff member, but I'll be damned if I'm not your film/TV podcast host. From Lamarstaysweird, much love, and good vibes.LamarStaysWeird Arte

  • "Alien Earth" Is Better Than The Movies | Ep. 38 | I've Seen Things Podcast
    Oct 17 2025

Don’t call it a comeback… unless you feel it on ya. Boom.

I’m talking Alien rankings, a little catch up about where I’ve been, a little bit about Cons and Yellowjackets. I’ve missed this and happy to be back in the swing of things.

Much love and good vibes, my dudes!

The horror femininomenon continues into the new year with a horror comedy situationship. I went into this completely blind and absolutely loved it. Sophie Thatcher is a great leading woman/final girl and Jack Quaid is too good at playing a “nice guy.”

  • The Only Good Horror Legacy Sequel | Ep. 36 | I've Seen Things Podcast
    Jan 29 2025

I’m talkin’ about a pillar of horror cinema and its heir. Legacy sequels have been in full swing for a good number of years but very few stick the landing. Mike Flanagan’s Doctor Sleep is big, deep, and dark. The only man that had what it takes to make such an ambitious follow up to Kubrick’s work.

TW (trigger warning): Substance abuse. I get a little personal about my struggles and how it feels to be the one that wants to help and needed the help. Everyone’s struggling with something. All it takes is just a moment of trust and vulnerability.
