The entire concept of delegated authority It really started with God giving humanity dominion or authority over the earth which is found in Genesis chapter 1 verse 26. Shortly thereafter humanity lost that authority with the fall of Adam and Eve. Now Satan being the deceiver and liar that he is manipulated the fall of Adam and Eve to position himself as a authoritarian over earth.

The next move was Jesus taking back all authority in heaven and earth which he declared in Matthew 28:18. Now this is where it gets amazing.Christ then re-delegates that authority or dominion to His followers (not all of humanity) but exclusively to those who believe in Him as Lord and Savior.
