How to Stop Feeling Empty When He’s Gone

  • Resumen

  • If you feel empty, it’s because you don’t have yourself to hold onto.

    So what do you do?

    You dive into you.

Instead of chasing another high, you take that moment and go:

“Wow, I have this deep feeling. I am incredible. I have deep compassion for myself, for my sadness, for my grief. These things have happened to me. What a story I have. I feel so much. I am amazing.”

You may not be as introverted as you think.

You may not be living in as small of a world as you believe.

There’s a whole festival inside you. A theme park. There are roller coasters inside you.

So when the high is over and life suddenly feels empty, that’s your cue—go inward. Explore your emotions.

    Journal it out.

    Talk it out.

Get a coach who can help you connect with the parts of yourself that are hiding.

It’s difficult to do alone—even for me.

I use breathing techniques and all sorts of tools, but a coach can actually guide you into a conversation with your inner child, with the parts of you that have been waiting to be heard.

When you do this, life stops feeling like a letdown.

And when you leave him, you won’t feel empty.
