    May 10 2025

Prior to exploring Early Colonial Mexico, let’s re-visit one of the most glorious Mesoamerican societies—the Aztec Empire in the context of presentism. The meaning of presentism is an attitude toward the past dominated by present-day attitudes and experiences. Some define it as the historical sin of applying present-day virtues upon the past.

I recently heard a provocative defender of Christianity say, “put aside your Marvel characters and dedicate yourself to honoring the Blessed Saint JOSEPH, the earthly father of Jesus. He is the perfect example of what a REAL man and courageous HERO should be.” E96

  • Sistine Chapel hosts Conclave
    May 8 2025

Located in the Apostolic Palace, the pope's official residence in Vatican City, The Sistine Chapel takes its name from Pope Sixtus, who had it built during the 1470s. Since that time, it has served as a place of both religious and functionary papal activity. Today, it is the site of the papal conclave, the process by which a new pope is selected. The chapel's fame lies mainly in the frescoes that decorate its interior by a team of Renaissance painters including Sandro Botticelli, Pietro Perugino, Pinturicchio, Domenico Ghirlandaio, Cosimo Rosselli, and most particularly the Sistine Chapel ceiling and The Last Judgment covering the whole altar wall, both by Michelangelo.

Is the author reading a wiki or something?

I'm 6 episodes in and so far it's just a cold list of facts and events. It sounds like the narrator is reading a wiki page on the bible. They are often repeating the same things a few times with different words. they are not offering any personal interpretation or point of view. The flat, obsessive tone becomes unpleasant after a while. also there are two minutes of commercials every five minutes of content
