Walk with me as I read through my journal landing today on day six since my son's incident. I pray that his story and our families story inspires you to look towards the cross. Gods mercy is endless, and his faithfulness is awe striking. He is a God who loves us and never leaves our side through it all. Hope you enjoy and again, are inspired by Who our God is.

Final day of Dideriks last breaths, sharing my heart with yours by reading day 5 of being in the PICU watching my son sleep. I also share my son's eulogy that I read a week later after he departed to the congregation who came to celebrate his life. There is so much hope to hold onto here, that Diderik is physically still with us but also that if he decides he wants to stay in heaven either way, he will be fully healed and fully himself. We believe in Gods purpose and plan for our lives, no matter how tragic our circumstances are. We trust Him, we may not always agree and be okay with it, and thats okay- but we trust.
