  • Harnessing Low Carbon Hydrogen - Hacking Through The Thorns?
    Jan 18 2023

2023 is set to be a big year for hydrogen and in this Green Buzz podcast, hosted by the Green Finance Community Hub, we discuss various hydrogen projects across the North of England and drill down to how hydrogen fits into Cumbria’s Clean Energy Strategy and the possibilities and actual plans for multi-coloured hydrogen (green, blue and pink) production there. We also consider the business case and the investment risks for green hydrogen and whether being a first mover in this space is an advantage - or as hard as hacking through a field of thorns.

Hosted by Ciara Shannon, Director, Green Finance Community Hub with Eric Adams, Project Director, Carlton Power, Ian Wheeler, Head of Clean Energy, Cumbria LEP and Ann-Marie Cowperthwaite Head of Arup’s office in Whitehaven. For more visit www.greenfinancecommunityhub.co.uk.
