  • Employing foreigners with Foundever
    Feb 2 2026
I have a pleasure to work with CX industry since late 90s of previous century. I remember the times when first call contact centres were built in Poland and started to grow. Now, in 2026, the CX industry is very well developed and supports clients from all around the World. To do so it is crucial to employ foreigners and also local people with language skills.Few years ago I have met managers from Foundever company, a global organization who provides CX services from many countries. They are also present in Poland in few locations and employ people of over 80 nationalities. How does the recruitment of foreigners look like? What needs to be taken into consideration? Is it easier to recruit German speaking person or perhaps someone who speaks other languages? Those and many more questions I asked Danuta, Manzura and Oskar from Foundever Poland.Grab a coffee and listen how employing foreigners looks like.Enjoy listening.Links:Danuta Oleśkiewicz on Linkedin - https://www.linkedin.com/in/danuta-oleskiewicz/Manzura Sabzalieva on Linkedin – https://www.linkedin.com/in/manzurasabzalieva/Oskar Stawowski on Linkedin – https://www.linkedin.com/in/oskar-stawowski/Foundever – https://foundever.com/pl/Recruitment in Foundever - https://jobs.foundever.com/content/Find-a-Job/Foundever on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/foundever_poland/Foundever on Linkedin - https://www.linkedin.com/company/foundever/ **************************** My name is Wiktor Doktór and on daily basis I run Pro Progressio Club - https://proprogressio.com/en/activity/pro-progressio-club/1 - it's a community of many private companies and public sector organizations that care about the development of business relations in the B2B model. • Value vs Price with Maggi Dewedar
    Jan 27 2026
Value vs Price with Maggi Dewedar Value or a price or perhaps I should say Value vs. Price - this is a question!? It's common for businesses to base their selection of an outsourcing partner on price. But is this always the right approach? Is the lowest price the final price, or is it something that will soon be revealed—hidden costs? And how does the value of the service fit into this? What should you consider, what should you pay attention to, and how should you create and develop the process of selecting an outsourcing partner? I asked these and many other questions to Maggi Dewedar from enable, a company that has been supporting its clients in the CX BPO sector for years. • Venezuela crisis, Colombian wages and AI - a reality check for LATAM BPO & GBS
    Jan 7 2026
In this episode of Good Morning BSS World, I return to Latin America for our regular monthly update on the BPO and GBS industry, and I am joined once again by my good friend and LATAM expert, Mauricio Velasquez. Based on most recent Venezuela’s crisis our conversation begins with a timely look at this country – a country that historically played a significant role in regional shared services and IT operations, and which may or not once again attract attention in the coming years. Without diving too deep into politics, we focus on business realities, talent availability, and the long-term potential of Venezuelan professionals both at home and across the region. We then move to one of the hottest topics impacting nearshoring decisions today: labor costs. Mauricio shares his on-the-ground perspective on Colombia’s recent 23% minimum wage increase and explains why this is a major challenge for BPO and GBS providers operating in the country. We discuss how this shift may influence investor decisions, regional competition, and geographic diversification across Latin America. The discussion also touches on AI adoption, bilingual talent availability, and the evolving balance between automation and human-centric service delivery. As always, this episode offers practical insights, real numbers, and honest opinions on where the Latin American BPO and GBS market stands today and where it may be heading next. Key points of the podcast:Venezuela's potential resurgence as a BPO and IT hub hinges on political stability and the return of skilled Venezuelans to rebuild the business environment. The significant increase in Colombia's minimum wage could impact the country's competitiveness in the BPO sector, potentially shifting business to other Latin American countries with lower labor costs. The key to leveraging AI in the BPO sector lies in combining it with human capabilities, ensuring that technology enhances rather than replaces the workforce. • Africa’s BPO & GBS momentum - African industry update
    Dec 23 2025
In this episode of Good Morning BSS World, I return to Africa for our regular monthly update on the state of the BPO and GBS industry across the continent. I am joined by two outstanding guests – Traci Freeman and Rod Jones – who are deeply involved in shaping, promoting, and accelerating the growth of Africa as a global services destination.Together, we explore the rapid progress of the Africa Federation, its expanding membership, and the role it plays in unifying national industry bodies across North, West, East, Central, Southern Africa, and the Indian Ocean region. We discuss job creation, impact sourcing, ESG, government–industry collaboration, and the growing maturity of both established and emerging markets such as Egypt, South Africa, Morocco, Kenya, Ethiopia, Ghana, Rwanda, and beyond. This conversation provides a comprehensive, region-by-region snapshot of where Africa stands today in BPO, CX, ITO, and shared services, and where it is heading next. It is a powerful reminder that Africa is no longer an “emerging option” but a competitive, scalable, and trusted delivery location with an exceptional talent pool and a strong service culture. Key points of the podcast:Africa's BPO and GBS sectors are growing rapidly, with significant government support and strategic initiatives focusing on job creation, skills development, and inward investment.Countries like South Africa, Egypt, Kenya, and Ethiopia are emerging as key players in the global outsourcing market, offering diverse language capabilities, competitive operating costs, and a large, tech-savvy youth population. The African Federation for BPO and GBS aims to unify and promote the continent's outsourcing potential through regional collaborations, mentoring, and the establishment of a formal structure to support sustainable growth and international investment. • Top CX destinations revealed - inside the Offshore CX Confidence Index 2025
    Dec 15 2025
In this episode of Good Morning BSS World, I invite you to listen to the talk I had with two independent CX analysts I truly value – Peter Ryan and Matt Kendall. Our conversation revolves around the freshly released Offshore CX Confidence Index 2025, now celebrating its fifth edition. We discuss how the index has evolved over the years, including important methodological changes in data collection and a significant increase in respondent volume. Peter and Matt explain why maturity and consistency are now key characteristics of the global CX outsourcing market, rather than dramatic year-to-year shifts.Together, we analyse regional trends across Latin America, Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean, highlighting notable movers such as Jamaica, Guatemala, South Africa, Romania, and Colombia. We also reveal the Top 5 global CX destinations, discussing why, for example Poland continues to strengthen its position, why the Dominican Republic remains a nearshore favorite, and why India still stands unchallenged at number one. This episode is a must-listen for anyone involved in CX strategy, outsourcing decisions, or location analysis. If you want to understand where confidence, stability, and long-term CX potential truly lie in 2025, this conversation provides both data-driven insights and real-world perspective.Key points of the podcast:The CX Confidence Index reveals significant growth in countries like Jamaica, Guatemala, and South Africa, reflecting improvements in their customer service sectors.India maintains its dominance as the top destination for customer experience outsourcing, driven by high confidence in its labor market, infrastructure, and economic stability.Poland and Romania emerge as strong European contenders, with Poland showing notable gains in economic stability and Romania leading in multilingual talent availability.
