  • Help, I’m Having Doubts About My Partner!
    Oct 6 2025

It’s just us this week and we’re breaking down a listener email about the relatable crisis of having doubts about your long-term partner. We discuss so many aspects of relationships and marriages -- marrying young (and what IS the optimal age to say I Do), not growing in the same direction as your partner, when your life is perfect on paper but you’re unsettled, feeling like your partner isn’t challenging or exciting enough, and even catching feelings for someone else. We also discuss the fear of the fallout after a breakup – friends, family, pets, a shared home, etc. – and how to navigate these tough decisions. Before we get into the topic, we’re discussing where couples are supposed to sit (and not sit) on planes, Ashley shares a crazy story from a recent show, and Rayna has been having too much fun bossing a man around. Enjoy!

  • What Does a Wedding Cost? (and Other Burning Questions) with Planner Jacquelyn Aleece
    Sep 29 2025

We have Ashley’s wedding planner in the house! Jacquelyn Aleece, founder of The Wedding Plan & Company, joins us to answer all your burning questions about weddings and spill some tea. We discuss money stuff – how much a wedding actually costs, where to save and where to splurge, her #1 budgeting tip, if there really is a “wedding tax” when it comes to vendors, and so much more. We’re also chatting about the biggest mistakes couples make when planning, bands vs. DJs, and how to make your wedding feel more fun/less stuffy. As for the tea – What kind of bride is Ashley? Can Jacquelyn tell if a couple isn’t going to make it? What’s the biggest drama at weddings? – and more. Before she joins us, we’re catching up on Rayna’s houseguests and Ashley’s wedding dress drama. Enjoy!

  • Unpacking Fawning, the Misunderstood Trauma Response with Dr. Ingrid Clayton
    Sep 15 2025

We’ve all heard of fight, flight, and freeze, but what about the fourth F of trauma responses? It’s called fawning and we have Dr. Ingrid Clayon join us to discuss what it looks like (leaning in even when you’re uncomfortable, needing to please), why we fawn in childhood, relationships, the workplace, etc., and how to break these patterns. We discuss how fawning compares and contrasts to people pleasing, and how fawners have trouble finding healthy relationships, saying no, recognizing their own anxiety, and being honest in therapy. And Ingrid offers advice for getting curious about the trauma responses that could be holding you back, recognizing and not sabotaging healthy partners, and speaking up when you don’t like something. Before Ingrid joins us, we have a SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT, Ashley gives a family/health update, and Rayna is making new friends. Enjoy!
