Featuring guests Erika Gundlach, Sonya McKinley, and Joseph Reed

Ericka Gundlach is originally from Toledo, Ohio. No driveway or land. The houses were close together, with low income for support, but her parents had the will to teach hard work and focus to achieve the life she wanted. She started babysitting for family at the age of 11, with little side hustles like neighborhood yards just to make $5. Determined to go college-bound, the life of a musician and vocal student had its bumps in the road and lead her to Nashville.

"My father asked me 'What are you going to do there?' I replied, 'Maybe I’ll be the next Dolly Parton, or at least find a man that combs his hair, wears a belt, and says Yes Sir.”

"That man I found was raised farming. He had a passion for his cows, hogs, and chickens and showed this girl the true way to get food…grab a hoe and get to work. Along with our two sons, we work together and put a little grit into the successes of our life. We are learning and growing in what is said to be a dying culture. What we need more than anything in the world is more people to depend on themselves versus depending on 99% of what’s offered at the grocery store.

When you hang up your high heels and grab some boots, it’s worth every minute. Especially when your youngest son is admiring your hard work and compliments you weeding the tomatoes and comments “Mommy you’re a hoeing machine!” As a society we need to be the example for our children and get back to the basics of living. Only then can we take control of our food and the way we feel.

Featuring guests Molly Armour and Anne Lockwood

Molly Armour purchased her first van and launched “Catch A Ride ~ Call Molly” in 2022 and the rest of the story is quite the adventure.

She found herself learning a whole new way of life and language, Pennsylvania Dutch, in the Amish community.

They rise before the sun for work, have strong community connections and they value character and integrity. It took some time to earn their trust but in short order, Molly became part of the communities day-to-day.

Molly has spent hours upon hours of time in cars and vans with the Amish community in Western KY. They have hired her to take them to Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana and many other states. Their family roots run deep across the U.S. and she has loved getting to know these families and sharing in life.

When Molly moved into her new home, they came and helped her paint and clean. Afterwards, they all went fishing in the pond behind the house. They have given her mountains of fresh produce and flowers, invited her into the lives of their children who absolutely love to sing songs about Jesus. Molly has learned that the little ones don’t speak English until they go to first grade but they love to sing! Luckily, songs we all know!

The Amish have shown her that they are very much like everyday Americans. They love deep, they face the same trials we all face and they are a people of great faith! Molly is grateful to be in community with the riders and their families. They seem to always have a smile on their face when she arrives and she is just as excited to see them as they are to see her!

Molly now has 3 vans and 2 cars with multiple drivers. Catch a Ride - Call Molly has caught on! Her phone rings off the hook now from word of mouth from her new friends and she is so grateful.
