  • Fentanyl and Fiction: Kouri Richins
    Mar 20 2026

Kouri Richins spent a year on a press tour talking about grief, but a Utah jury just called it murder. This episode goes inside the trial to look at the 'calculated' nature of the crime. Friend of the show and DV trainer Jeanette Barich joins us to discuss the profile of the female primary aggressor, looking at how financial desperation, gaslighting, and digital manipulation served as the precursors to Eric Richins’ death. We analyze the March 2026 verdict and Jeanette shares her professional perspective on how we can better identify and support male victims in high-conflict, female-led domestic abuse situations.

  • Man, I Feel Like a Woman: Women’s History Month Mini
    Mar 18 2026

History isn't just about the past; it’s about the context of our present. This week, we highlight the pivotal advancements in women’s rights, including the Equal Pay Act and the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). However, we also lean into the 'sobering statistics' that persist in 2026: the enduring gender pay gap, the disproportionate rates of violence against women, and the decline in reproductive healthcare access. It’s a brief but necessary reality check on the status of equality today and a call to continue the advocacy of those who came before us.
