    Jan 5 2026

What happens when someone spends 20+ years running from God through addiction and rebellion, yet God never gives up on them? Casey's incredible transformation from religious trauma to freedom proves that no one is too far gone for God's grace. Sometimes it takes just one person's simple obedience to change an entire family's destiny. Are you ready to discover how God can use even the most broken stories for His glory?

  • Thriving Faith - Sam Sanden
    Dec 29 2025

The early church thrived under persecution by embracing three transformative principles that Chinese underground believers later used to grow Christianity from 1 million to 100 million people in four decades.

These keys are: recognizing every day as the Lord's day, understanding every home as His church, and knowing every believer is a priest. When persecution scattered the Jerusalem church, ordinary believers became the driving force of revival, not professional ministers.

The same principles that sustained faith through Communist oppression can strengthen our faith today. By shifting our perspective to see each day as belonging to God, making our homes centers of faith, and embracing our calling as ministers, we can develop unshakable faith that advances God's kingdom regardless of circumstances.

  • Why Christmas, Pt 3 - Waiting for Christmas
    Dec 22 2025

The Christmas story reveals the power of waiting with joyful expectation through Simeon and Anna, two elderly saints who spent decades actively waiting for the Messiah. Their waiting wasn't passive but involved positioning themselves in the temple through worship, prayer, and service.

While many missed Jesus when He came because they weren't paying attention, Simeon and Anna remained spiritually alert and were rewarded for their faithful expectation.

God's timing is always perfect, even when it feels slow to us. We can follow their example by maintaining regular time in God's Word, staying connected to believers, serving others while we wait, and keeping our hearts tender toward God.

This is the third and final part of the series "Why Christmas?" by pastor Chuck Tilton.

  • Why Christmas, Pt 2 - The First Star Trek
    Dec 15 2025

The wise men's journey to find Jesus reveals how God reaches people from all backgrounds and circumstances. These pagan astrologers traveled hundreds of miles, following a star to worship the newborn King. Their story contrasts sharply with King Herod, who was geographically close to Jesus but spiritually distant. The magi brought gold symbolizing Jesus' royalty, frankincense representing His priesthood, and myrrh foreshadowing His sacrificial death. Like these ancient seekers, we must actively pursue Jesus rather than passively wait. Their example shows that no one is beyond God's reach, and the greatest gift we can offer Jesus is our surrendered hearts in worship.

  • Why Christmas, Pt 1 - When Gabe Met Mary
    Dec 8 2025

The Christmas story begins with the angel Gabriel visiting teenage Mary to announce she would give birth to the Savior. Mary's response reveals the heart of true faith - trusting God's plan even when it seems impossible. The virgin birth was essential because Jesus needed to be both fully human and fully divine to serve as our perfect, sinless Savior. Unlike the first Adam who brought sin into the world, Jesus lived as the perfect second Adam, offering His righteousness to cover our sins. When Gabriel told Mary that nothing is impossible with God, he revealed a fundamental truth about our Creator's power to accomplish the miraculous in our lives today.

This is part 1 in the series "Why Christmas" by Pastor Chuck Tilton.

  • Christ and Culture - Spencer Nakamura
    Dec 3 2025

Young people today face unprecedented mental health challenges, with 46% of Gen Z adults reporting formal diagnoses like depression and anxiety.

This crisis stems from a culture that has abandoned biblical truth in favor of lies promoted through social media and cultural influencers. Like the generation in Judges who didn't know the Lord, today's youth are being led astray by modern versions of Simon the Magician - trading dignity for false promises online.

The solution isn't cooler church programs but preaching the full gospel. Young people are actually hungry for biblical truth and someone who believes in their potential to carry faith forward.

Spencer Nakamura serves as the Young Adults Pastor and South Hill Campus Pastor at Motion Church in Puyallup, Washington. He is also the host of The Future Is Now Podcast, where he equips Christians to live with purpose and step into the calling God has placed on their lives.

With a heart for the next generation and a platform that reaches beyond the local church, Spencer inspires believers to grow in faith, discover their identity in Christ, and engage culture from a biblical perspective. His guiding mission can be summed up in his tagline: “Telling the truth in a world full of lies.”

  • Mark, Pt 22 - The Landowner, the Son & the Problem Tenants
    Dec 2 2025

Are you a faithful steward or a rebellious tenant? Jesus' parable of the vineyard reveals a shocking truth: everything you think you own is actually on loan from God. The question isn't whether you'll give an account - it's whether you'll be found faithful when that day comes. What are you really building your life on?

Part 22 in the series from the Gospel of Mark.

  • Mark, Pt 21 - Authority
    Dec 1 2025

Are you growing older in your faith or actually growing up spiritually? There's a huge difference between being a spectator and a participant in your Christian journey. Many believers spend years in church but remain spiritually immature because they're observing instead of engaging. What if the key to transformation isn't more time but more intentional participation?

Part 21 in the series from the Gospel of Mark. Today's message by Pastor Chuck is titled "Authority"
