  • Mark, Pt 28 - Christ Faces Pilate
    Mar 24 2026

The encounter between Jesus and Pontius Pilate reveals a profound truth about earthly power versus heavenly authority. While Pilate wielded tremendous political power as Roman governor, Jesus reminded him that all authority comes from above.

The crucifixion was driven by unholy motives that still plague us today: fear of people, personal gain, hatred of truth, and especially envy. Envy, which motivated the religious leaders to hand Jesus over, offers no pleasure - only pain and destruction. We face the same choice Pilate presented: which Jesus do we want?

The culturally acceptable one who lets us live as we please, or the Jesus of Scripture who calls us to repentance and transformation. To overcome these destructive motives, we must die daily to our flesh, remember our heavenly citizenship, and choose love over envy.

This message by Pastor Chuck is part 29 in the series from the Gospel of Mark.

  • The Oasis - Jerry Stinger
    Mar 16 2026

God desires to communicate personally with each of His unique children, and He uses various methods to reach us. The primary way God speaks is through Scripture, which is alive and active, with the Holy Spirit guiding our understanding.

Because we are each fearfully and wonderfully made as God's unique masterpieces, He uses different delivery systems including dreams, prophecy, wise counsel, and word pictures to communicate with different people.

In the spiritually dry Pacific Northwest, God is establishing spiritual oases - places where thirsty souls can find living water and authentic community. These oases are marked by spiritually hungry people gathering, quality kingdom resources arriving, and the location becoming known as a destination for spiritual refreshment. Check out this podcast to learn more!

This message is by Jerry Stinger, Board Member of Fathers House Church.

  • Trust the Cross - Sam Sanden
    Mar 9 2026

The cross stands at the center of Christianity, yet many throughout history have denied its reality. Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection solved four critical problems from humanity's fall: pollution, partition, powerlessness, and penalty.

The evidence for Jesus' death is overwhelming, including prophetic testimony where He fulfilled over 28 specific prophecies, medical testimony showing the brutal reality of Roman crucifixion and flogging, and eyewitness testimony from over 500 people who saw Him alive after resurrection.

The question isn't whether the cross happened, but whether you've personally trusted in what Jesus accomplished there.
