I am a huge, longtime fan of Jeff Daniels the musician. I have listened to his musical stories over and over again, all day long, while creating stitched art. So I just “knew” that this audio memoir would be wonderful.

It was over too soon and I can’t wait for more! Of course in the meantime, I’m going to listen to this again and again. What a gift the multi-talented Mr. Jeff Daniels is to the world. I highly recommend this delightful offering.

I heard you live a couple of decades ago at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac. Bought the “tape” (that dates us!). The tape died years back. I’ve been missing our “time together.” A huge fan from the start, a southeast Michigander, I always wave as I drive by on 94

Great in all ways

I never cared for Jim Carrey's humor, so paid little attention to Jeff Daniel's early career.
But this series is delightful.
I'm also ambivalent about most sports, so it was surprising that the tribute song to Al Kaline made me cry.
I'll definitely look into his music and hope to hear another season of "Alive and well Enough".

Anything You Need is Here

It’s hard to write about something that moved me, is still moving me, as much as Alive & Well Enough. The surprise of Jeff’s music—hilarious, poignant, spot-on—made me shout out loud. A lot. I’m sure my neighbors wonder what exactly I’m doing here in my bedroom.

And the stories he chose to tell that carried no stink of “memoir.” And how those two elements twined around each other to offer up a man who had learned a few things in his 60+ years. Boy howdy! I’m sure glad I got to meet him.

I really enjoyed Jeff’s stories and music. I grew up about an hour from his home in Chelsea and I loved hearing the Michigan references.
Looking forward to more!
