This book is delightful!
I’ve been an Andrew Rannells fan since Book of Mormon and many of my favorite moments have come watching him be himself on talk shows. This book is so funny, so sweet, so honest and so self-aware that I understand why he makes such a great interview subject. Listen to this performance of this book. It is brilliant.

Enjoyed every minute
Loved this audiobook. The writing and narration are super-clear and compelling. I kept rearranging my day so I could keep listening. I hope Andrew Rannells decides to do a follow up book to continue from where this book ends.

Just not enough
It is a pleasure to listen to Andrew Rannells share stories of his growing up and path towards fame. But really it is a story about a struggling actor in NYC, his failed auditions, and his eventful love life. While any famous person can share their early years, one hopes they end up famous by the end of the story. Andrew ends up in a Broadway Ensemble.
Two things set this apart: He has a very easy comfortable storytelling style.
He has the most incredible ability to remember and share details of his whole life.
I would listen to him actually achieve fame. This was a little lacking.

Listen, I love Andrew Rannells and his humor, so this book was a must for me. I love that he doesn't focus on his famous years, instead giving us all the work and effort that went into getting him there. As a young guy that just moved to the city there's a lot of stuff here to learn from.
