John is a former Marine and an exceptionally skilled firearms instructor specializing in rifle, pistol, and long-range shooting. We dive into stories from his background, mental health, hunting, and more.

In Episode 296, I sit down with Megan Sellstrom. Megan spent the last 13 years as a crime scene investigator in Louisiana. She recently identified the heaviness the profession was causing and made the courageous decision to walk away and step into a new phase of life.

Megan loved the career, as you'll hear on the show. It was fascinating, and she held a passion for it, but being subjected to violence for years took its toll. Her story is not unlike many people inside the profession, and she made the decision to prioritize her heart over her career.
