  • Strange Brew: The Tallman House
    Oct 1 2025

It's the first episode of Strange Brew month! This week, we’re heading to small-town Wisconsin for one of the creepiest, and most overlooked, paranormal stories in the Midwest: The Tallman House Haunting. In 1987, the Tallman family of Horicon brought home a used set of bunk beds that seemed to unleash something terrifying. Radios tuned themselves, voices whispered in the dark, and glowing red eyes peered out of the children’s room. The events were so intense the family fled their home, and the story became the subject of an eerie Unsolved Mysteries segment. Was it truly a cursed object, a case of mass hysteria, or something else entirely?

But before we climb into those haunted bunk beds, we’ll lighten the mood with some fresh fall flavors: a rundown of upcoming Oktoberfest and seasonal beer release. From malty Märzens to Wisconsin classics making their return.
