  • 039 - Doing the most! A mailbag episode, with bloopers!
    Apr 30 2025

This episode starts off... a little different. Let’s just say the universe gave us some unexpected background noise and we decided to roll with it. (You’ll hear it. You’ll know.)
We’re back with just the two of us and we really brought the chaos this week! In this episode, we’re talking everything we’re loving right now from cozy products to the music we have on repeat. We also dive into four MESSY listener letters that involve third wheel drama and secret job offers.
This one is pure fun and we know you’re going to be screaming right along with us.

  • 038 - Normalize It: Upending the Silence, Stigma and Shame that Shape Women's Lives with Dr. Jessica Zucker
    Apr 23 2025

This week, we’re joined by the amazing Dr. Jessica Zucker—clinical psychologist, advocate, and award-winning author, for an honest, unfiltered conversation about the silence, stigma, and shame that continue to shape women’s lives.
In honor of her upcoming book Normalize It: Upending the Silence, Stigma, and Shame That Shape Women’s Lives (out 4/22), we dig deep into the way silence becomes shame, especially around things like miscarriage, body image, menstruation, and menopause.
Dr. Zucker shares her personal experiences, including her miscarriage and breast cancer diagnosis and how they’ve informed her work and advocacy. We also talk about how to introduce our daughters to menstruation in a way that is empowering instead of embarrassing, and why normalizing our bodies is a radical act.
This one is layered, vulnerable, and full of wisdom.

  • 035 - Going Viral, Staying Grounded: Kierra King's Story
    Apr 11 2025

This week's episode is an important one.

We're joined by Kierra King, the woman whose TikTok detailing a racist encounter in a California clinic went viral. While many stood behind her, others dismissed her pain. Some even questioned if it was real, calling it a skit. But it wasn't. It's her real life.

What most people didn't see? After that traumatic moment, Kierra sought care at another facility, only to be failed again. Additionally, a coworker later joked about the incident to her face. The original clinic? They still haven't taken accountability.

As black women, we're constantly expected to stay calm even in the face of dehumanization. Because even if we react with anything less than grace, we're labeled as "angry," "classless," or even "aggressive.." And when things do happen to us, we're gaslit into believing it's somehow our fault.

We're so grateful that Kierra chose to share her story and the aftermath with us. In this episode, she talks about what it's been like navigating overnight fame, the emotional toll of it all and how she's doing the work to heal beyond the viral moment. Kierra is strong, grounded, funny and such a light!

  • 034 - Cameron Oaks Rogers is Doing It All! Quieting the Mind, busy-ing the hands and keeping it real!
    Apr 2 2025

This week on Doing It All, after a quick weekend recap we’re joined by the incredibly honest, sharp, and hilarious Cameron Oaks Rogers @cameronoaksrogers host of Conversations with Cam, Creator, Mom, Wife and now, Author of Quiet Your Mind and Busy Your Hands!
Cameron is someone who truly gets it when it comes to navigating social media while protecting your peace. She shares the boundaries she holds to keep it all in check, her Hannah Montana approach to being online (when she’s on, she’s ON but when she’s off, she’s OFF), and let’s just say her dms can get chaotic. She also gives us her biggest Instagram ick, and a trend she loves.

Beyond social media, Cameron opens up about receiving a recent diagnosis and how that’s shifted her perspective on work, life, and self-care. She also takes us through her day-to-day routine, sharing how her village steps up in big ways to help her juggle it all—because no one does it alone.

And of course, we all share our flexes and fails, because balance, right? 😆
This episode is everything! Funny, insightful, and just the kind of conversation you need in your life. We can’t wait for you to listen.
