I used to be drawn to a “project”: men who I dated for their potential. That was my virgo-ish-ness on full display. I’ve unlearned my overthinking, hyper-critical, project seeking mannerisms and replaced them with some more self-actualized behaviors. But those lessons came from dating men like “Tony”. Luckily, I caught this lesson before it was too late.
