Prior to working at PEZ, Shawn authored Collector’s Guides to PEZ and conceived of the idea of the PEZ Visitor’s Center, which features a collection of history, trivia and memorabilia related to one of the world’s most iconic candies. Shawn is also the author of PEZ From Austrian Invention to American Icon, a comprehensive history of the company which began in 1927. Pez Candy’s beautiful history began in Austria as a peppermint and made its way here to the U.S. after world war 2. It has become an American classic and a staple of childhood memories around the globe.
