Combat Special Missions Aviator Anthony Dyer joins me to talk about his new book MOON CHILD: THE ROOTS AND WINGS OF A USAF COMBAT SPECIAL MISSIONS AVIATOR, his time in combat high in the skies above the Middle-East, his transition from active duty to civilian life, and what he is doing to help fellow veterans like himself to make the move and find their identity post-service.Anthony spent times in several of the Air Force's and SOCOMs most elite units, including the 16th SOS as a previously titled "door gunner" until the Air Force converted the career field over to a "Combat Special Missions Aviator" where he took on tons more responsibility. Lt Commander turned thriller author Robert Adamcik joins me to talk his new book “The Waveforce Affair”, naval warfare, and his thoughts on the Pentagon today.Bob served as a Surface Warfare officer in Operation Desert Storm, Southern Watch, Stabilize, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Today, Bob still works with the Navy as a contractor testing out some of the newest toys and weapons systems before they go live with the fleet. He is also a tour guide for the Battleship Wisconsin. Before he retired Bob was also a test director for guided missile submarines for the Navy, something he'd never done before (at least below the surface). The Martini Squad Adventures series is out now, and Adamcik just released the second book THE WAVEFORCE AFFAIR. Ally Walker, actress, writer, director, and now debut author joins me to discuss her new book THE LIGHT RUNNER.You might know Ally from TV and film, most notably as Agent June Stahl on SONS OF ANARCHY, but Ally hasn't just been in front of the camera her entire career.
