Saturn and Neptune conjoin at 0’ of Aries on February 20th, 2026. A rare and very definitive cultural re-structuring. We got a taste of what might be in store in 2025 when Neptune was in Aries from Late March through October, and Saturn was in Aries from late May through early September. Prior to this, Saturn has not inhabited this sign since the late 1990’s, and Neptune hasn’t been here since the 1860s-70s. Leah Shirley, fellow artist and astrologer, joins me on a deep dive into both the collective implications of Saturn in this new sign as well as what it means for Neptune to be riding right alongside him. Better late than never!! The gang is back together again to parse through the blazing astrology of a year full of explosions, confusion, and saving graces. The Fire and Air era was introduced in 2025 with Saturn and Neptune’s movement into Aries and Uranus into Gemini - all of which continue and intensify in 2026 - but even more fuel is added to the flames when the eclipses shift to Aquarius and Leo, along with Jupiter’s entry into Leo. This is such loud astrology that it’ll require a sharpening of our instincts and sheer determination to boldly go where we’ve never gone before. Atop al that, after a dizzying, revolutionary summer, we wrap the year in a sea of retrograde energy. Venus and Mercury retrograde in October and November while Mars gears up to station retrograde in the early days of 2027. May these stress tests make us stronger and graduate us into the next thrilling chapter of our lives! Where there is a will there is a way.

This month is particularly marked by the forces of a series of Uranus oppositions to upend the whole structure, and a Mercury retrograde to keep us very much on our toes. In other words, plan to change your plans! Adaptability is our stability right now. We’re also entering the final days of our Taurus and Pisces transits amidst a continuing Grand Water Trine to keep us very sensitive, but hopefully enables some resolutions that provide real emotional relief —enough to start the process of moving on into this new era. Now that Mars is in Sagittarius, and there was an election, some of us may feel like we have a real horse in the race :) PLUS the astrology of the Louvre heist, internet outages, star athletes, cultural critique, and the power of Scorpio actors.
