    🎄 Holiday Surprise Drop! 🎄

This Christmas Day, we’re pulling something straight from the Caviar & Criminals vault — an episode we truly never thought would see the light of day.

Red, White, and Sleigh is our festive gift to you: a wildly unhinged, surprisingly informative, and very merry deep dive where Dana tells Anthony the story of American Girl dolls. Yes. Those dolls. The historical icons. The catalogs. The lore. The emotional damage.

What starts as a nostalgic trip through colonial kitchens and pioneer hardships quickly turns into a full-blown investigation of American Girl mythology, cultural impact, and why these dolls had an entire generation in a chokehold. Anthony comes in mostly unprepared. Dana comes in with facts. Chaos ensues.

This episode is silly, cozy, and a little unhinged — the perfect palate cleanser for the holidays and a reminder that sometimes the real crime is how deeply we all cared about fictional children in the 1700s.

Pour some eggnog, hide from your relatives, and enjoy this very special Christmas surprise drop from us to you.

🎁🎄 Happy Holidays from Caviar & Criminals.

  • Typhoid Mary: Serial Killer? (SEASON TWO FINALE)
    Dec 18 2025

For our Season 2 finale, Anthony is walking Dana through one of the most complicated and controversial figures we’ve ever covered.

Mary Mallon — better known as Typhoid Mary.

A woman linked to dozens of infections, multiple deaths, and a legacy that’s lasted more than a century. But here’s the question at the center of this episode: Was she actually a serial killer… or was she the victim of a medical system that didn’t yet understand what it was dealing with?

To help answer that, Anthony brings in our first-ever guest — Dr. Jonathan Kurtz (aka JMoney, and yes, also Anthony’s husband). With a background in infectious disease and immune response, Dr. Kurtz helps break down what typhoid really is, how asymptomatic carriers work, and why Mary became a public health villain long before the science could explain her role.

Anthony guides Dana through the history, the panic, the moral gray areas, and the uncomfortable truth that this story lives somewhere between true crime and public health — forcing us to ask whether intent matters when harm is real.

We also close out Season 2 by reflecting on the stories we’ve told, the patterns we’ve uncovered, and why Caviar & Criminals continues to live at the intersection of culture, crime, and controversy.

  • Ed Gein: The Virgin Who Can Drive
    Dec 11 2025

This week on Caviar & Criminals, Dana takes Anthony on a disturbing little road trip through the life and crimes of Ed Gein… yes, that one. From the horrors that inspired Hollywood’s most famous slashers to the genuinely unhinged details that still make seasoned true-crime fans queasy, Dana breaks it all down while Anthony tries to keep his jaw off the floor.

And somewhere between skin suits and small-town nightmares, we veer straight into a critique of Ryan Murphy’s never-ending parade of “creative liberties,” questionable casting choices, and why he cannot resist making every true crime story about blondes, trauma, and a wallpaper palette that looks like a haunted Restoration Hardware.
