    In Episode 5 of Big Rascals, we discuss of top 5 Christmas Movies and the book "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" by C.S. Lewis. There will be SPOILERS!!! So go read the classic book, if you haven't already, then come back and listen.

    "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" is set during World War II, four Pevensie siblings - Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy - are evacuated to the countryside and discover a magical wardrobe in their temporary home. The wardrobe leads to Narnia, a land under the rule of the evil White Witch, who has created an eternal winter. The children, guided by the lion Aslan, must defeat the Witch to fulfill a prophecy, with Edmond's betrayal and subsequent redemption playing a central role in the conflict.

    In Episode 4 of Big Rascals, we discuss our top 5 influences for becoming writers, a little about our own projects we're working on and the books "Seventh Sons" and "Red Prophet" by Greg's favorite author Orson Scott Card. There will be spoilers!!! So go read the two books and discover a new amazing series, then come back and listen.

    The "Alvin Maker" series is an alternate history fantasy saga by Orson Scott Card about Alvin Miller, the seventh son of a seventh son, who possesses the supernatural ability of a "maker" to create and shape matter. Set in a 19th century America where folk magic is real, Alvin must navigate his powers, a destined conflict with the destructive Unmaker, and a journey toward creating a utopian city called the Crystal City. The series follows his life from childhood to maturity, exploring themes of destiny, morality, and the clash between creation and destruction.

    In episode 3 of Big Rascals, In light of Spooky Season, we discuss our top five favorite and least favorite Halloween candies, the book "I Am Legend" by Richard Matheson, and the movies "I Am Legend" and "Omega Man." There will be spoilers!!! So, go watch the movies, read the book, and come back and listen.

    "I Am Legend" is a post-apocalyptic horror story about Robert Neville, the last human survivor of a vampire pandemic. By day, he hunts the undead in the ruins of Los Angeles, and by night, he barricades himself inside his home to survive their attacks. The novel is a highly influential work in the horror and science fiction genres, inspiring modern zombie literature and three film adaptations.

    We are back with episode 2 of Big Rascals. Join us as we discuss our top five Saturday Morning Cartoons, The new Superman movie and the book "The Ear, the Eye and the Arm" by Nancy Farmer. There will be spoilers!!!! So, go watch the movie and read the book and come back and listen.

    "The Ear, the Eye and the Arm" is a 1994 science fiction novel by Nancy Farmer set in a futuristic, technologically advanced Zimbabwe in 2194. The story follows the privileged children of General Matsika, who escape their protected compound and are subsequently kidnapped by a trafficker. Their parents hire three mutant detectives—Ear, Eye, and Arm—to find them, leading the children on a perilous journey through the city's dangerous underbelly, where they encounter issues of human rights and survival.
