In Episode 5 of Big Rascals, we discuss of top 5 Christmas Movies and the book "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" by C.S. Lewis. There will be SPOILERS!!! So go read the classic book, if you haven't already, then come back and listen.
"The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" is set during World War II, four Pevensie siblings - Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy - are evacuated to the countryside and discover a magical wardrobe in their temporary home. The wardrobe leads to Narnia, a land under the rule of the evil White Witch, who has created an eternal winter. The children, guided by the lion Aslan, must defeat the Witch to fulfill a prophecy, with Edmond's betrayal and subsequent redemption playing a central role in the conflict.
We want Big Rascals to be a community or a "club." So don't hesitate to leave a comment or suggestion on what next book you would like us to discuss and we will do out best to accommodate. We are also looking for sponsors or donors. We can be reached at bigrascals.podcast@gmail.com. We are extremely grateful for any and all support! Thank you!
For our next book to read as a club, Derek has decided on "Jurassic Park" by Michael Crichton.
Keep reading, keep writing, and stay rascally my friends!
