  • No Script, Just Jump
    Apr 2 2026

What if the biggest thing holding you back… is just standing on the shore?

Life can feel like standing at the edge of deep water: you can stay on the shore where it’s safe, or jump in and trust that you’ll figure out how to swim. In this episode, we explore what happens when you take the leap, even when you’re scared of sinking.

In this episode of Beyond the Blueprint, we sit down with Mr. Christopher Connor—drama teacher, creative mentor, former actor, and someone who knows what it means to take a leap before having everything figured out.

Before becoming a teacher, Mr. Connor spent years pursuing acting, improv, stand-up, and creative work, navigating the uncertainty, rejection, and self-doubt that often come with chasing something artistic. But over time, his path shifted. What started as a dream of performing eventually became a deeper calling: helping students find their voice, take risks, and grow into themselves.

In this conversation, Mr. Connor reflects on the transition from acting to teaching, the reality of career pivots, and why some of the most important moments in life come from saying yes before you feel fully ready. He talks honestly about failure, identity, impostor syndrome, and the pressure of trying to “figure out” your future while still becoming who you are.

This episode is for any aspiring creatives or anyone just figuring life out who’s ever thought:

What if I try… and it doesn’t work?

    Let's flip that question.

What if you don’t try… and miss everything waiting for you out there?

    So the real question is:

Are you staying on the shore… or are you ready to jump in?

  • The Power of Delusional Confidence
    Mar 16 2026

Not pursuing your art is more impractical than the temporary hardships of an artistic path.

On this episode of Beyond the Blueprint, we sit down with Cybèle Fasquelle, a singer-songwriter, producer, and founder of Mix Music, whose journey moves across continents, disciplines, and creative worlds. Born in Paris, raised in Beijing, and now studying at Harvard and Berklee College of Music, Cybèle is building a life where psychology, storytelling, and music collide.

But her path hasn’t been simple. Surrounded by peers pursuing consulting, law, and medicine, Cybèle had to confront the same question many creatives face: Is choosing art actually practical? Instead of waiting for opportunities to appear, she started creating them: co-founding Mix Music, a student-run platform that connects young artists with real industry experiences.

In our conversation, Cybèle opens up about the mindset that keeps her moving forward, what she calls “delusional confidence,” the radical belief that your vision can become reality even when the world tells you otherwise. She shares stories about overcoming doubt, protecting your creative identity, and learning to define success on your own terms.

This episode is for anyone who has ever felt pulled toward a path that doesn’t quite fit the standard mold and wondered if they're brave enough to follow it. 🎙️
