  • Episode 6: Kaya Scodelario
    Feb 16 2022

What better way to close out a series of a gym-based podcast than conversations about zombies, being chased by men dressed as alligators and David telling the guest to “fuck off” moments into the show?

Luckily, Kaya Scodelario stuck around to discuss her mixed relationship with working out and the way exercise has helped her overcome the challenges of working in film and starting a family.

Like the episodes before it, the series finale covers a lot of ground from being forced to practice swimming with children to Kaya honing her “constipation face” for a role as an ice skater and the depressing state of hotel gyms.

  • Episode 5: Jacob Anderson (Raleigh Ritchie)
    Feb 9 2022

All bets are off as Jacob (aka Raleigh Ritchie) sets out to derail the podcast in any way he can after being described as the “least into training” of any of BTL’s clients.

Jacob introduces the guys to his fitness alter ego ‘The Ball’ as he reminisces about not being able to move his legs moments before a live show and realising he needed to be naked on screen just days before a shoot.

But for someone who “accidentally falls into fitness” he’s been able to balance acting, music, fatherhood and exercise in a way that’s given him the ability to only work on projects that keep him happy.

From helicopter noises during fight scenes to having the “body of a toddler” and why he’ll never go on Strictly Come Dancing, its anyone’s guess where this chat’s going… good luck everyone!

  • Episode 4: Joe Dempsie
    Feb 2 2022

Like a Game of Thrones series finale, Joe Dempsie (aka Gendry) arrives on the podcast to add a final twist to a story that’s been shrouded in mystery since the start of the BTL podcast (Nicholas Hoult’s anecdote about someone being a bit more naked than they should have been on stage).

Joe also talks about keeping his mental and physical health in check when he rowed out of - and back into - one of the biggest shows in the world, practicing combat moves on his own with hammers and why he got banned from Nandos at the height of Skins’ popularity.

Later in the episode, the boys unearth another on-camera injury and David continues his run of impressive outros.
