In this Easter sermon from Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church (SeaTac, WA), we continue our series “Alive in the Risen Christ” with the message: “From Doubt to Living Hope.”

In John 20:19–31, the risen Jesus appears to His disciples in the midst of fear and doubt. He does not reject them, but instead brings peace, shows His wounds, and creates faith where there was uncertainty. Even Thomas, who struggled to believe, is met with grace.

This message reminds us that faith is not the absence of doubt, but the presence of Christ. The risen Lord meets us where we are and draws us into a hope that is alive, enduring, and secure in Him.

This sermon is from Easter Sunday worship at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in SeaTac, Washington.

Centered on the resurrection Gospel and the promise “just as He said,” this message proclaims the sure and certain hope found in the empty tomb. Jesus’ rising is not unexpected or uncertain it is the fulfillment of His Word. Everything happens just as He said it would.

What seemed like the end at the cross is revealed as God’s saving work brought to completion and now, the empty tomb declares victory for you.

This sermon comes from our Good Friday Tenebrae Service at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in SeaTac, Washington.

On this solemn day, we hear the Passion account from John 18–19 and walk step by step through the suffering and death of Jesus. As the lights dim and the weight of the moment deepens, we are drawn to the cross where Christ bears the sin of the world in humility, silence, and sacrifice.

In this message, we reflect on what it means that Jesus goes willingly to the cross for us, speaking His final words, “It is finished.” Here, we see both the depth of human sin and the greater depth of God’s mercy. That this was done for you. This is not the end of the story but it is the moment where salvation is accomplished for you.
