Living Hope in the Risen Christ | Beautiful Savior Sermon Audio

In this Easter sermon from Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church (SeaTac, WA), we continue our series “Alive in the Risen Christ” with the message: “From Doubt to Living Hope.”

Drawing from 1 Peter 1:3–9, we hear the powerful promise that through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we have been given a living hope one that is not shaken by trials, uncertainty, or suffering, but is anchored in the victory of Christ over death.

In John 20:19–31, the risen Jesus appears to His disciples in the midst of fear and doubt. He does not reject them, but instead brings peace, shows His wounds, and creates faith where there was uncertainty. Even Thomas, who struggled to believe, is met with grace.

This message reminds us that faith is not the absence of doubt, but the presence of Christ. The risen Lord meets us where we are and draws us into a hope that is alive, enduring, and secure in Him.
