She plays Kristi Jones, a martial arts expert, who joins forces with a detective, John Miller, to track down a serial killer who victimized her sister. The acting is bottom of the barrel, with a lot of martial arts students and unpaid locals, but the action is top-notch and the villain is one of the craziest ever committed to film!

The Electric State is Netflix's most expensive film at $320 million, as well as one of the most expensive movies ever, period. It follows Michelle and her robot friend Cosmo as they travel across a dystopian America ravaged by a war between humans and robots, looking for her brother. Joined by a veteran and smuggler named Keats and his wisecracking companion robot, Herman, boredom ensues. Despite having a killer cast including Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt, Giancarlo Esposito, Ke Huy Quan, Stanley Tucci, Woody Harrelson, and Anthony Mackie, this movie sits at a 14% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 2.1 on Letterboxd, so we're here to see what the hell happened.

In a follow-up to last year's episode about Batman Forever, this year we're getting into 1997's star-studded turd, BATMAN & ROBIN! Starring George Clooney, Chris O' Donnell, Alicia Silverstone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Uma Thurman, this is Joel Schumacher's second in his planned trilogy of late '90s Batman neon camp. Arnold, as a puntastic Mr. Freeze, is trying to turn Gotham into an arctic region to get revenge for his sick wife, and Uma is an oversexed Poison Ivy, trying to protect nature from the destruction of humanity. We also meet Alfred's niece, Alicia Silverstone, who dons a nipple-friendly latex outfit to help the Dynamic Duo fight crime.

Figuring out what comic book adaptation to do for Schlock & Load is tough when it's a month full of schlock, so we decided to go full-on '80s goofball action with repeat "welcome back" Dolph Lundgren in THE PUNISHER! Pretty much your standard origin story about Frank Castle's family being horrifically murdered by the Mafia, causing him to seek revenge in an increasingly horrific fashion. This one, surprisingly, isn't available streaming, but you can find it on YouTube right here.

Halle Berry does her best Michelle Pfeiffer here, and it doesn't work at all, in Derrick's opinion. We have Halle Berry and Sharon Stone here, two of Hollywood's sexiest. Yet, this movie is oversexed without being sexy as well as being mystical and magical without any magic, and so full of potholes that I'm surprised we don't have more people falling to their deaths to be resurrected by mystical Egyptian hairballs. We'll get all the way into this 2004 bomb directed by Pitof. That's it... just Pitof.
