The classic board game where players buy, trade, and develop properties to win...while driving opponents to bankruptcy. It's available in over 37 languages and licensed in more than 130 countries. The story of Monopoly started with "The Landlord's Game," created by Lizzie Magie in 1903 though many people attributed the game to a man named Charles Darrow, but it turns out that he stole the idea from Magie in 1933 and claimed it as his own. Today you can enjoy Monopoly on an app or an online version...or many of the dozens and dozens of licensed and localized versions.

News; game: general trivia; funny idiosyncrasies with the English language; goodbye/fun fact: National Peanut Butter Fudge Day on November 20 is when we try our hands at making a delicious batch of fudge. There is a wide range of viable peanut butter fudge recipes to be found on the internet and elsewhere, but what they all have in common is a quick prep time (a matter of minutes, in some cases), and a short list of simple ingredients that most of us probably already have in our kitchens. As a bonus, peanut butter fudge is much easier to make than chocolate fudge, because it doesn't involve melting the chocolate to a specific temperature measured by a special thermometer. Peanuts have the most protein of any nut — seven grams per serving — to provide long-lasting healthy energy.

Today there's more than 60,000 miles of trails across the nation. Not to mention, hiking is great exercise allowing you to burn over 550 calories per hour. Plus, being in the outdoors allows you to get away from your phone and appreciate nature's beauty and wonder. So become a sojourner...you could even join a hiking club!

They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away, but a glass of apple cider at the end of a long day can rejuvenate the soul. Apple cider is made from freshly harvested apples that are mashed and made to resemble applesauce. This is then pressed to extract fresh juice and fermented. After the fermentation process is done, we get the sweet and spicy apple cider . The origin of apple cider dates back to 3,000 B.C. when the Celts in Britain made the beverage using crabapples....but it was bitter. The Norman invasion of England in 1066 introduced acidic cider apples and advanced apple-pressing technology to make the juice-extraction process easier. It's all about DIY these days. It's very easy to make cider at home, so find that online recipe and get going!

However, just about any fruit or vegetable can be pickled. We consume a phenomenal 5,200,000 pounds of pickles each year in the United States. While pickles can be high in sodium, they are a good source of vitamin K. In moderation, they make a great snack. BTW...drinking pickle juice helps with muscle cramps, helps regulate blood sugar and it helps to balance gut health!

To date, Jack and Mark have managed to publish over 200 different books under the same series, featuring motivational stories that were sent to them by their readers. The name was chosen because so many cultures use chicken soup to help with someone who is ailing. The ancient chinese used to make chicken soup with therapeutic herbs to cure different diseases...In Vietnam they eat coconut curry soup, the Greeks eat lemon chicken orzo soup, in Italy it's gnocchi chicken minestrone, and the Jewish tradition is matzoh ball chicken soup.

Music has been bringing joy to humans for thousands and thousands of years. Archaeologists speculate that the "Divje Babe Flute" is the oldest musical instrument. It's dated to be approximately 43,500 years old and is made out of a cave bear femur. Of course, when the technology for audio recording was invented in the late 1870s, it changed the way that music was able to be presented to the world. A lot of work goes into being a musician, and not everyone's aware of it. Musicians spend hours a day practicing and hours a night playing at bars, clubs, and concerts. Ever wonder why musicians sell merch, go on tour, and lend their face to commercials? Well, the average musician only earns about 6% from sound recordings, and less than a cent per stream.

The sundae's origins can be traced back to the late 19th century, when laws known as "Blue Laws" prohibited the sale of soda on Sundays. To circumvent this restriction, ice cream parlors began serving ice cream with syrup instead, which did not violate these laws. This workaround led to creating the ice cream sundae, originally served only on Sundays...but the spelling was changed to "sundae" to be a clever twist to avoid any association with the Sabbath day and allow the dessert to be sold daily....so on this Tuesday...go have a sundae.
