The story of Monopoly started with "The Landlord's Game," created by Lizzie Magie in 1903 though many people attributed the game to a man named Charles Darrow, but it turns out that he stole the idea from Magie in 1933 and claimed it as his own. Today you can enjoy Monopoly on an app or an online version...or many of the dozens and dozens of licensed and localized versions.

News; game: general trivia; funny idiosyncrasies with the English language; goodbye/fun fact: National Peanut Butter Fudge Day on November 20 is when we try our hands at making a delicious batch of fudge. There is a wide range of viable peanut butter fudge recipes to be found on the internet and elsewhere, but what they all have in common is a quick prep time (a matter of minutes, in some cases), and a short list of simple ingredients that most of us probably already have in our kitchens. As a bonus, peanut butter fudge is much easier to make than chocolate fudge, because it doesn't involve melting the chocolate to a specific temperature measured by a special thermometer. Peanuts have the most protein of any nut — seven grams per serving — to provide long-lasting healthy energy.

Hiking wasn't always the fashionable pastime it is today....walking used to considered an activity for the impoverished or the vagrant. Until the Romantic era of the Victorian years inspired the likes of Walden and Thoreau to reconnect with nature and that, in turn, inspired the landscape architects to design parks with excellent walking trails. Today there's more than 60,000 miles of trails across the nation. Not to mention, hiking is great exercise allowing you to burn over 550 calories per hour. Plus, being in the outdoors allows you to get away from your phone and appreciate nature's beauty and wonder. So become a sojourner...you could even join a hiking club!
