  • It Is Finished
    Apr 13 2026

    Happy Sunday after Resurrection Sunday!

Dr. Mo continues to discuss Philippians 3:10 and adds to the focus John 19:30 for today’s episode. She focuses on the three infamous words uttered by Jesus “it is finished.” Dr. Mo links this saying of Jesus back to the neuroscience and Philippians 3:10 as she thinks about how our bodies must finish the trauma response when it is started.

Dr. Mo discusses how our bodies are already created with the universal response needed to bring them to safety and growth after trauma experiences. The body has to go THROUGH the trauma response and FINISH the sequence. If not, trauma remains stuck in our bodies. Our bodies are already equipped to rise to life and God promises that we can know His power.

Tune in to this episode as we think about God’s invitation to rise to life and to know His power to finish the trauma responses that have been started in some of us. God might be inviting us to also say “IT IS FINISHED”!

  • A betrayed, bruised, beaten body Resurrected
    Apr 5 2026

    Happy Resurrection Day!

Dr. Mo continues to expound upon Philippians 3:10. She focuses on the 2nd part of that verse by pondering what does it mean for us to know the power of resurrection. How do we move from understanding the close association with Jesus and suffering to knowing the power of rising to life? Especially when we have suffered betrayal, bruising, and beatings, both psychologically and physically.

Tune in to this episode as we think about God’s invitation to rise to life and to know His power after we have experienced traumas and sufferings in our lives.

  • The Anticipation, Anxiety, and Anguish of Jesus
    Mar 29 2026

    Happy Sunday!

On this last Sunday in March, Palm Sunday, we are culminating our anniversary celebration of six years of the “And The Church Said” podcast!

Dr. Mo has been celebrating six years of God’s faithfulness to the work of the podcast! Today, we continue to discuss Dr. Mo’s hesitation to do the work of the podcast. She discusses how her hesitation was rooted in social rejection and fear and how she has come to understand her close association with the sufferings of Jesus.

Dr. Mo reads from Philippians 3:10 and Luke 22:39-46. She discusses when we anticipate doing the will of God we can experience anxiety and anguish. Especially when we are doing really difficult things. Just like Jesus as He prepared to go to the Cross.

Tune in to this episode as we think about how God might be inviting us into fellowship with Him through our sufferings.

  • When Fear and Rejection Keep Us from the Will of God in our lives
    Mar 22 2026

    Happy Sunday!

We are still celebrating six years of the “And The Church Said” podcast! 🎉🎉

Dr. Mo is celebrating six years of God’s faithfulness to the work of the podcast! Today, we continue to discuss Dr. Mo’s hesitation to do the work of the podcast. She discusses how her hesitation was rooted in social rejection and fear.

Dr. Mo reads from Exodus 3:6-12 and compares her journey with Moses as they both question God by asking “who am I”. She quotes Dr. Aimie Apigian in her book the “Biology of Trauma” as she explains how our fears and past traumas can cause us to not feel adequate to do the work of God. Dr. Aimee states “emotional pain that feels unbearable is processed as an inescapable life threat. Social rejection and shame can exceed our capacity just as quickly as the physical dangers of an oncoming car.”

Tune in to this episode as we think about how God called Moses back to himself, back to God, and back to the place where he fled because of traumatic life experiences. During this season of Lent, think about how God might be inviting you in ways that seem confusing but are possibly redeeming.

  • Rebroadcast: Five Years: An Act of Worship
    Mar 1 2026

    Happy Sunday!

As we are in our birthday month, we are rebroadcasting this episode that originally aired on March 9, 2025 In this episode, Dr. Mo celebrated five years of the podcast!

Dr. Mo reflected on five years of podcasting and understood that worship is an act of obedience. We read Genesis 22:5 where Abraham took his son, Isaac, to be sacrificed. It was the first time in the Scriptures the word “worship” is used.

Dr. Mo confessed she failed to execute all God showed and instructed her concerning the podcast. She talked about continuing the work wholeheartedly as an act of worship, that is, obedience unto God. Which included fully executing the vision God has given her concerning the podcast.

Tune in to this episode as we thank God for gracing us for five years of “And The Church Said”!

  • Rebroadcast: Let There Be
    Feb 22 2026

    Happy Sunday!

We are rebroadcasting another episode that originally aired January 2025. As we are settling into this year of 2026, some may have already dropped off of their new year goals.

In this episode, we continue to read Genesis 1 with a focus on verse 3. We are thinking of how God might be inviting us to create and exercise an authority using the words “let there be”.

Tune into this episode as we contemplate an invitation to create and establish while considering what is required of us to implement, maintain, and protect those creations from sabotage.
