There is peace knowing the finished work of Christ at the cross. We read in scripture John 16:33

These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

There is definitely trouble in the world and it seems like it never ends. Jesus told us that we can have Peace knowing that He has conquered the world. How can we find peace in the daily battles we all face. REST in HIM. That's how we can.

Roman's 5:1

1. Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Peace comes with faith and understanding. Going through trials James 1:2-4

Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

GOD knows best

In this episode we were having a casual conversation about some very real issues that are influencing culture and how these affect our churches and relationships.

What and who is the Holy Spirit. We talk and hear about the holy Spirit but who or what is it or He?

What role does the Holy Spirit play in our lives and even in our daily walk with God.

Repentance.

What is it? How does it affect you?

What is our true Identity and what kind of a life are we living when we live as a sinner?

As believers in a risen Savior, we should be living our lives as saints because that's what the Bible tells us we are when we give our life over to Jesus.

Turning away from the sinful life and turning to Jesus as our Savior, truly turning away from that old life that died with Christ at the cross and embracing the new life of freedom found in a relationship with Jesus and His resurrection.

Inheritance

`What is your inheritance, Have you gotten yours or are you still waiting for it?

There's certainly a lot of people eagerly awaiting theirs but have you truly thought of the inheritance you are due? Is it something you've earned or are just eagerly awaiting? Do we EARN it?

The Anchormen will be discussing our earthly inheritance but the most permanent and important inheritance we will ever get. Eternal inheritance. It's an inheritance that we will never have to pass on to someone else but I think we can surely share it with others just by sharing Jesus with them.

This week we get to discuss our true, forever lasting and eternal inheritance that can only be givin' by God himself and what will that cost us? Something we have to buy? Or Earn?

Roman's 8

A pivotal chapter in the new Testament for all believers but for NEW COVENANT followers of Jesus, this chapter is essential in our beliefs.

Romans starts out by stating we have "NO condemnation for those in Jesus" That's all believers. Knowing that our sins will never be held against us because when we out our faith in Christ, He enters us, and His life is now in us. We died with Him at the cross. Our old self DIED. Our new self, the one that includes Jesus, takes over and we have a new life in Him.

This is great news. Our sins, pst, present and future, will never be brought up again.
