Can you share with us a tip that can help listeners better manage the stress in their daily lives. You talk about routines and how a routine can help reduce stress. Tell us about how sticking to a routine can help with stress management. Last time you were on the show we talked a bit about developing a positive relationship with your calendar and embracing the benefits of organization. Share with us how this can also help with reducing stress. For parents listening who have children or teens that might struggle with stress or executive functioning challenges, are there any added stress management tips that you have for younger people? Tip: Defining pleasurable anchors to ground you in your day will decrease stress. Daily consistent anchors should associate with the beginning, middle and end of each day. By having these set moments that you can count on, your body can then feel the relief of the reliability of the known. These can be tiny moments like having a cup of coffee, looking out the window or taking a walk to get the mail in the mornings. A particular snack break where you enjoy your plants or an evening reading of a book or listening to music at a relatively set time (ideally moments should not involve screens and should be transferable to any location). You can breathe into these moments and build life around them to keep you centered, grounded and anchored. Anna Levy-Warren is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Organizational Tutors.
