    Our guest today is a 1998 Furman University graduate and former golf student-athlete who has truly turned her passion for sports into a thriving career—though not quite in the way she had originally imagined. She was a professional golfer on the Symetra Tour for five years before transitioning into a successful business owner. She now leads an award-winning design and build firm based in Greenville, SC, specializing in experiential branding for college athletic programs and top-level businesses. The firm Jack Porter, which has been in operation for over 10 years, has worked with some of the nation’s top Division 1 programs, including Clemson, Notre Dame, Miami, and Georgia. They focus on creating immersive, branded experiences that bring organizations' unique stories to life within their facilities.

    Her journey from the fairways of professional golf to the world of business and branding is a testament to the power of adaptability, strategic thinking, and a love for storytelling. She has built a company that is shaping the way college athletics are experienced, using design to unlock engaged fandom, deepen emotional connections, and drive growth for her clients.


    With a background in both business and philosophy, combined with her experience as a Division 1 athlete, she has a unique ability to understand the needs of organizations and help them elevate their cultures and achieve their goals through thoughtful, innovative design. As a leader, she is committed to mentoring others and advocating for female entrepreneurship while continuing to drive her firm’s success.

    Today's Guest: Director of Athletics Army West Point- Thomas Theodorakis

    Today, we’re excited to introduce a dynamic leader in collegiate athletics with an impressive journey that spans over 16 years at the NCAA Division I level.

    A proud graduate of Syracuse University, where he was a member of the 2004 national champion men’s lacrosse team, he holds a master’s degree in sport administration from the University of Northern Colorado. He is also a graduate of the Sports Management Institute (SMI) Executive Program and has attended courses at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and the University of Texas McCombs School of Business.


    He began his career at the United States Air Force Academy, where he worked in the Marketing and Development office and volunteered as a coach for the men's lacrosse team.


    After that, he spent five years at Arizona as Assistant Athletics Director for Development, playing a crucial role in major capital campaigns for the Lowell-Stevens Football Facility and the McKale Center Renovation Project. He continued to make an impact at Arizona, returning as Associate Athletics Director for Development, where he led efforts that contributed over $67 million in capital campaign support.

    He then spent time at UCLA as Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs, overseeing the development office and driving significant growth with the groundbreaking of two major training centers: the Wasserman Football Center and the Mo Ostin Basketball Center.

    In 2021, he took on the role of Senior Associate Director of Development at Harvard University, where he developed strategies for revenue generation and external engagement.

    Arriving at Army West Point in July 2022 as Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Operations, he quickly ascended to Deputy Athletics Director, External Operations & Chief Revenue Officer in March 2024. In this capacity, he leads all external units for Army West Point Athletics, focusing on development, strategic communication, licensing, branding, and revenue generation. He also served as Sport Administrator for the Men’s Basketball and Men’s Lacrosse programs and is a member of the Army-Navy Steering Committee, organizing one of the nation's most iconic rivalry games.

    In February 2025, he was named the 31st Director of Athletics at Army West Point, overseeing the athletic support and operations for all cadets at this historic United States institution.

    Todays Guest: 5Tips & Tricks: Olympian Long Distance Runner - Justyn Knight

    Today's guest hails from Canada and is a professional long-distance running star. Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, he took up distance running in high school, starting in Grade 10 at St. Michael's College School. He won the 2013 Ontario Provincial Senior Cross Country Title at the OFSAA Cross Country Championships. In 2014, he was recruited by Syracuse University, where he earned All-American honors in both track and cross country in 2015.

    He won the ACC Championship in 2017, and by 2018, he had claimed three NCAA titles. He captured his first NCAA track title in the 5000 meters and placed second in the 3000 meters at the 2018 Indoor Championships.

    His international career took off when he made his World Championship debut at the 2017 in London, while still a student at Syracuse. There, he reached the final and placed ninth overall in the 5000 meters. In February, he won the gold medal at the Millrose Games in the 3000 meters and represented Canada at the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo. He is currently a member of Nike's Bowerman Track Club.

    Our guest journey in collegiate athletics is truly impressive, starting with her education at Syracuse University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in 2004 and was a three-year starter on the field hockey team. In 2006, she went on to earn her master’s degree in education with a concentration in athletic administration from Springfield College. During her time there, she also served as an assistant coach for the field hockey team, helping lead them to two conference championships.

    This women’s career in athletics took off at Colgate University, where she spent ten years in various roles, ultimately serving as Chief of Staff and Senior Associate Director of Athletics. At Colgate, she oversaw the construction of over $43 million in capital projects, including a state-of-the-art ice hockey arena and a new soccer and lacrosse complex. Her leadership extended across all internal operations of the department, and she served as sport supervisor for a wide range of teams, including football, men’s and women’s basketball, and softball.

    In 2018, she joined the Yale Athletics Department, where she was promoted to Executive Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer just four years later. In her current role, she leads the organization and workflow strategy for all areas of the department, from finance and human resources to capital projects and facilities. She also supervises football, women’s basketball, heavyweight crew, and softball. She is an integral part of the senior staff, working closely with her team to set and meet departmental objectives.

    Highly involved in national athletics leadership. She chaired the NCAA Division I Women’s Lacrosse Committee in 2013 and 2014, playing a significant role in shaping the landscape of the sport at the collegiate level. In recognition of her outstanding contributions to collegiate athletics, she received the Nell Jackson Administrator of the Year Award in 2014 from Women Leaders in College Sports. She’s also been a sought-after speaker, presenting at national conventions like NACDA and Women Leaders in College Sports.

    Her dedication to excellence in athletics has also been recognized by her alma mater. In 2024, she was honored as a LetterWinner of Distinction—one of the highest honors given to former student-athletes.

    He has been GoRout since January 2020, after spending over a decade in FBS football. His career includes significant roles, such as serving as Assistant Athletic Director and Football Chief of Staff at Western Michigan University, where he was from 2017 to 2020. His extensive experience also includes being the Director of Football Operations at Syracuse University in 2015, and Assistant Athletic Director for Football Operations and Recruiting at Rutgers from 2007 to 2010 and again from 2012 to 2015. Throughout his career, He has been a part of 8 bowl games, bringing a wealth of leadership and operational expertise to the table.In addition to his time in college football, his journey includes stints with IMG College and MSG Networks, and he even started his career as a student assistant at Syracuse University from 2003 to 2007.

    Today's Guest: Olympian, College & Olympic Administrator - Herm Frazier An Olympic gold medalist sprinter, a leader in the U.S. Olympic movement, and a college athletics administrator, today's guest has truly run the gamut at the pinnacle of sports. A native of Philadelphia and an All-American in track at ASU, he was the leadoff runner for the 1976 Olympic gold medal-winning 4x400 relay team. From 1980 through 2004, he served on various United States Olympic Committees, including two terms as the U.S. Olympic Committee vice president from 1996 to 2004. In 2004, he was named Chef de Mission for the U.S. delegation at the Athens Olympics, where he presided over the most successful U.S. Olympic team in history, as the Americans won 103 medals.

    Along with his Olympic background, he boasts more than 40 years of experience in athletics administration, including eight years as an athletics director and service on numerous institutional and NCAA committees.
