Today's Guest: Associate Producer and Host at Buffalo Toronto Public Media- Jack Kreuzer

From game-day coverage at Syracuse University to play-by-play across basketball, volleyball, soccer, hockey, and softball, he built his voice in sports broadcasting from the ground up. Through contracted broadcasts with ESPN+, he brought fans closer to the action, and over three seasons became the radio voice of University at Buffalo women's basketball, calling nearly 100 games while hosting pregame, halftime, and postgame coverage along the way.

His work grew to reach regional and national stages, including television play-by-play for the New York State Championships and solo TV play-by-play for the NAIA Softball World Series. He also helped establish sports coverage for Buffalo's NPR affiliate at Buffalo Toronto Public Media, hosting afternoon drive sportscasts and covering high school, college, and professional teams throughout the region.

Now, as Associate Producer and Host at Buffalo Toronto Public Media, he leads weekly broadcasts, produces audio and video content, and serves as the voice of the "Friday Night Lights" radio and television simulcast covering football and basketball.

Today's Guest: Sr. Associate with the New York Racing Association- -Ricky Pasternak

He got his start in the sports world the old-fashioned way, putting in the work behind the scenes. As a Student Head Manager at Syracuse University, where he earned his Bachelor's in Sport Management from the Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics, he coordinated travel, managed finances, and helped coaches and players prepare at the highest level of college athletics. From there, he sharpened his business instincts with a sales internship for the Rockland Boulders and a stretch in wealth management at Merrill Lynch, before finding his true calling at the intersection of sports and content. He spent nearly two and a half years as a CRM Supervisor and Writer for Racing Dudes — producing over 500 pieces of high-engagement sports and racing content, driving a 45% increase in organic traffic, and generating over $125K in additional monthly revenue through data-driven SEO strategy — while simultaneously serving as a Game Reviewer and Statistician for the NBA, breaking down film for officiating education across 200+ games and contributing to All-Star Weekend, the Draft, and the Combine. He then made the move into the fast-growing world of sports betting, spending nearly a year as a CRM Sports Associate at BetMGM — where he ran multi-channel campaigns for major sporting events, boosting email open rates by 28% and click-through rates by 34% — before landing at DraftKings, where he spent over three years as a VIP Host and Player Development Executive. There, he grew his portfolio from $9.3M to over $10.1M in annual revenue, maintained a 97.2% VIP client retention rate, and expanded the Northeast market by acquiring 12 high-value clients. Now, he's stepping into a new role as Operations and Business Intelligence Sr. Associate with the New York Racing Association, bringing his full arsenal of analytics, relationship management, and industry expertise to one of the most storied organizations in racing. Today's Guest: Ticket Sales Representative - Jonathan Danilich

Today's guest got his start at Syracuse University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism back in 2022. During his time there, he wore many hats — beginning as a Promotions Officer with Otto's Army in 2019, working his way up to President, and ultimately serving as Senior Advisor before his graduation. Alongside that, he sharpened his craft as a Marketing Assistant with Syracuse University, building skills in social media marketing and fan engagement.

Since then, he has taken his passion for the Orange to a whole new level. He transitioned into a full-time role as a Ticket Sales Representative with Syracuse University Legends, a position he has held for nearly three years and counting. A true champion of Syracuse Athletics both on and off the clock, he brings professionalism, dedication, and a genuine love for the game to everything he does.Follow and like this podcast as well as leave questions in the comments that may be answered on future episodes.
