Wow, Jon went thru a horrible life changing experience, and is still here today to tell his story! I cannot imagine the pain (physical and emotional) devastation, confusion and sadness, he has endured! Such a strong man and amazing will to survive against all odds!! Thank you for your service Jon!

Fantastic!
This is a great book about a real American Hero and Civil Affairs in action. I have met Jon and Sam several times. They are terrific people. In spite of all he has experienced, Jon is so humble and kind. Thank you both for all you do!
