Deeply moving and humanizing

Fantastically written. Captures the stories of some of the refugees coming to Canada as seen through the lens of a doctor at the refugee clinic in a deeply beautiful and humanizing way… “I’d determined a few commonalities over the years. We all loved our children with the same devotion. Everyone sought community of some sort. We all understood that language of kindness and humour. We sought purpose and meaning.
