Historia
The very strange but nevertheless true story of the dark underbelly of a 1960s hippie utopia. Laurel Canyon in the 1960s and early 1970s was a magical place where a dizzying array of musical artists congregated to create much of the music that provided the soundtrack to those turbulent times. But there was a dark side to that scene as well. Many didn't make it out alive, and many of those deaths remain shrouded in mystery to this day.

Historia
At last, the definitive audiobook about perhaps the best cabin crew dramedy ever filmed: View from the Top starring Gwyneth Paltrow. In Ayoade on Top, Richard Ayoade, perhaps one of the most 'insubstantial' people of our age, takes us on a journey from Peckham to Paris by way of Nevada and other places we don't care about. It's a journey deep within, in a way that's respectful and non-invasive; a journey for which we will all pay a heavy price, even if you've waited for the smaller paperback edition. Ayoade argues for the canonisation of this brutal masterpiece.

Center of the YOUniverse is an out-of-this-world spectacle starring Tituss Burgess and Jane Krakowski with music, laughter, and (probably) the salvation of humanity from its self-inflicted doom. Unaware of just how brightly the other one shines, Tituss and Jane will attempt the impossible: a double-booking. In a unique blend of song and storytelling, they’ll stop at nothing to upstage each other and steal the spotlight…until they realize the true purpose of being ridiculously attractive and having immeasureble talent: to unite and heal the world.

Can coloring books help de-stress your life?
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend this audiobook to anyone who wants to know what more about the phenomenon of adults coloring. This audiobook provides a basic overview of why adults have taken to coloring. Some start coloring to reduce stress levels while others find it challenges their brain. Still others have used coloring as a way to be part of a community of people enjoying the same activity together.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Your Guide to Adult Coloring Books?
I think that the part I found most interesting was learning about all the different medias and methods available, both to the coloring novice and to the expert.
What does Marc Schindler bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Audiobooks are unique in the fact that our listener opinion of narrators is very much a personal preference. On the one hand, to much inflection in the voice of the narrator can be quite annoying, while too little makes the reader sound mechanical (several books downloaded from Librivox come to mind). In the case of this audiobook, the narrator was a little to mechanical for my taste. In small doses, this style was acceptable, but if this had been an 8 hour book, I might have not have had the same opinion.
What insight do you think you’ll apply from Your Guide to Adult Coloring Books?
I had been wondering whether I would find this activity a potential source of stress relief. After hearing this book, I have decided to buy a basic set of pencils and field test the idea for myself.

Fairly interesting
Would you consider the audio edition of Your Guide to Adult Coloring Books to be better than the print version?
I'm a very fast reader and it's odd to listen to a book at someone else's pace. I would like to have the option to speed that up.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Your Guide to Adult Coloring Books?
I don't know that there are any particular moments in the book that are moving, however, I found it fascinating to hear why coloring is soothing for adults, and also to learn of multiple methods to be used for coloring. It actually made sense when he described the different techniques and what they were used for.
What does Marc Schindler bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He has a very pleasant voice, not at all painful to listen to. Except for wishing I could make it a little faster, he was enjoyable to listen to.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
No
Any additional comments?
When I was in college, we had a dept. that always had coloring sheets out, and they were for working through stress, especially due to testing. I never understood why, but they worked extremely well and I enjoyed the activity. It was very interesting to hear how these things have an effect, and what it does for your brain.

Coloring books are not only for kids.
The book was very informative. It had alot of useful information. it talked about what to color with , technics to use . It stated that coloring is helpful not only to improve focus but to make one feel better about themselves. It also said your coloring does not have to be perfect as long as you enjoy it and are happy with the finished product. This book was given to me at a discount or free.
