Get passed the bad audio, and the message is solid!
A writer’s memoir of sorts. I can appreciate the time put into this book. It’s a heartfelt story of an author and his personal journey to a rather successful life. I can always appreciate tenacity, focus, and the personal “try/fail” cycle of life.
The information was worth the listen, though the audio recording early on is bad. It gets better as you reach the middle, and stays consistently solid from there.
Jeff speaks clearly, and gets his message across. A solid listen if you’re interested in how an author turned his personal corners on the road to success.

Wonderful Author with a compelling life story
Jeff Wheeler is a superb fantasy writer. In this book, he tells the story of how he became a fulltime author. Through this work, His desire to inspire authors to develop their gifting can be clearly seen. If you are interested in writing and truly desire honest insight into the hurdles, roadblocks, and milestones that you will discover along your journey, I highly recommend this book.
The road to being an author is not instantaneous it takes continual practice. Your first million words begin this process of development. Allow Jeff Wheeler to take you on his adventure and help you understand the writer's journey.
