I have really enjoyed this book for its overall.

I have really enjoyed this book for its overall content. I will keep this one for years to come as a reference. We don't have a farm but do have over an acre of land and are able to use some of the suggestions given here.

What a great Audible!

I received this audible as a Secret Santa gift and love it! I asked for an audible on vegetable gardening and this audible fits the bill and is so much more! There are so many more things to learn as opposed to just gardening. It has a section on composting, using solar panels, and even making your own kites.

If you want depth on anything, keep looking.

Great book, lots of info. I have a small library of books on self-sufficient living. This book is focuses just on the area of food production and use, including vegetables, fruit, nuts, eggs, dairy, poultry & meat. I have found it to be useful.

Great Overview

Although this audible isn't thorough as many other reviewers have mentioned, it does provide an amazing overview of possibilities for someone who is just diving into sustainable living. I listened to this audible with my family and we loved it, especially the full-colour photos.

Seriously, this book is a must have for anyone who is interested in becoming green, maintaining their home / yard, prepper, first time farmer / gardener, and so on! This book has enough of everything to get you into and then get you out of trouble!

This book has lots of info on just about everything you need to know to be a great gardener. Easy listening and I recommend it to anyone interested in enjoying a beautiful garden.

This is a great, in-depth audible. It's helped me figure out a lot of things to deal with my crappy yard and how to stop eating preserved food.

Beautiful Compendium!

With DIY projects on the upswing and my interest hitting all over the board, my audible buying was getting out of control, until I picked up Homesteading. The audible is huge and beautiful, with tons of full-colour photos and a super useful index.

General, but worthy...

Wow! What a great range of topics - from growing veggies and keeping animals, to ways of harnessing types of Mother Nature's energy, and even info on massage and herbal teas and medicine - so cool. I love the beautiful displays of colour photos and how-to illustrations.
