Sweet and lol funny - and sexy - plus the two Bassett hounds steal every scene. Solid audio performance.

Cute story

This one will put a smile on your face especially if you like dogs. Easy cute listen with mild love scenes.

Enchanting and very well-done.

Subtle and interesting plot that keeps moving forward - lots of fun to read. I like the way London doesn’t get so graphic with her descriptions of the “intimate moments”!

FANTASTIC!!!

I read this book the day I had to put one of my two 11 year old basset hounds to sleep. It was a terrible day for our family but this book helped me remember the many wonderful hours of joy our Hildegard gave us. Her brother , Humphrey, misses her along with us but memories will always be valued by all of us. This book has a Great storyline & narrative.

The heroine is annoying

I liked the premise of a dog mixup. I liked the inclusion of dogs and a handicapped brother. However the female character is really annoying for about 3/4 of the book. I really didn’t like her! The reader doesn’t help because her female character voice is obnoxiously nasal. She does much better with the rest of the voices. Plus there were two major coincidences which was one too many, even in silly fictional lands.
Overall it was okay, a little rough—like maybe it was written in a rush. I think it was free so from that standpoint it was solid, I did make it to the end.
