Not with a bang, but a F--king Whimper

Adam Mansbach first book, "Go the F--K To Sleep' was brilliant because it was shocking, funny, original, and the meter worked. This one has Bryan Cranston, but that is just about it. IT wasn't nearly as good and the novelty is gone. It just doesn't work. Unless you are a die-hard eater, or love the F--k out of Adam Mansbach, I wouldn't buy this. But since it is free, sure down load the F--ker.

Missing the Mark

I have literally played the original Go the F**** to sleep dozens of times, usually for friends who have not heard it. I jumped on this book for free the moment I saw it, but after listening to You have to F****** Eat, I found that it lacked the humor that the original had. I've experienced some of these situations before so I could see the point of view, but this felt like a cheap gimmick to pull more money off the success of the original

I shouldn't laugh...but I do

Normally, I abhor foul language. I believe if you have to lower yourself to crude expletives, then your school teachers have failed you on an epic scale. However, having dealt with small children via my brother and friends, I can easily see how you would devolve into four letter epithets. This made me laugh. It shouldn't...but it did.

I could identify with every one of the scenes. I just thought that he missed that rant that I also say often, "Take a bite, NO, that is not a bite. Just licking your fork does not count."

liked it. solid script, but a bit too serious and not humorous enough. previous book was much better
