hahaha an amazing piece of medicine about how were all medicine and the things around us that play off each other.
love her respectful ways of bringing to light the medicine in my body that I was born with as a woman. also love her sharing of her tribes natural ways of medicine while still being respectful and caring toward the culture
this is a book I will be keeping to listen to throughout the seasons and different moons and I will also be getting the hard copy for reference because its THAT GOOD.

Potent and Poised

This is a powerful book to read—even if you don’t personally work with the moon.

There’s something really magnificent in the way the author has organized a ton of information: moon by moon (and season by season), she combines personal experiences, compassionate techniques, and ancestral wisdom by first sharing a story rooted in her Ojibwe heritage and using that story as a gateway to speak to a particular theme.

Also, I really loved the author’s narration. Her wise, warm presence shines through, and it was a pleasure to listen.

I always knew that I knew but couldn’t explain how I knew it.

This provided the safe place I needed to gain the courage to show up as authentically myself and stand strong in my knowing.

A must read

This is a must read! It spoke to my heart and is one of my favorite books to date. Thank you Asha Frost for sharing your gifts with the world.

This is well worth your credit! Great stories that made me cry for no reason....although, I am an emotional person, I shed tears of gratitude frequently. So grateful for this book. i want to share it with others

Asha is an amazing healer and a wise soul. This enchanting book is a must for all people looking to learn and discover the world that once was before the colonial powers tried to steal everything.

Words cannot adequately capture the healing infused in these words. When you add the experience of listening to Asha, it is magic. This is synesthesia for me.

I am a Queer.Deaf.Autistic occupational therapist. I am fourth generation Penobscot. I am also the child of every one of my beautiful and perfect Ancestors. Asha helps me to feel them while I do hard things, and while I do joyous things, and while I do simple things, and especially when I laugh.

As a clinical therapist and neurodiversity activist with over 20 years of experience, I know how powerful it can be to connect with Indigenous medicine - yoga, sage, visualization, etc. White women and other privileged people, especially in mental health care, should be very careful and how they treat Indigenous wisdom and medicine. We need to be centering indigenous educators and healers.
